What Is It Like to Be a Student at the Faculty of Foreign Languages?

On Saturday, May 3rd, the Faculty of Foreign Languages warmly welcomed high school students to the event "Become a Student for a Day". Future graduates and potential applicants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in real student life and experience the unique atmosphere of our faculty.

The program included engaging classes in English, German, and French, a hands-on translation workshop, and an introduction to different types of translation. Under the guidance of lecturers O.V. Sorochan and O.V. Nuzban, students explored the work of the Department and even tried themselves as simultaneous interpreters using professional interpreting equipment during the practical part of the event.

Live conversations with faculty and current students gave participants the chance to ask questions and learn more about studying translation and language — everything they were curious about. To top it all off, the student parliament hosted a fun and challenging quiz that added energy and excitement to the day.

It was a day full of learning, laughter, and inspiration! We sincerely thank everyone who joined us and look forward to seeing you again — next time as our students!
